Elkhart,

Mrs.
Craig,
who
chaired
the committee
for the 14
chap-
ters
involved,
told
those
present
that
a
substantial portion
of
this amount
was
being
spent
for
a badly-needed piece
of
equip-
ment.
She
explained that cystic
fibrosis
is a
hereditary
disease
in
this country. Children
and
young
adults suffering
from
cystic fibrosis must
live
near
a
clinic
in
order
to
receive regular
monthly
care.
The
average
cost
per patient for
one
year
is
$1,200.
For this
reason
the
clinic
main-
tains
a
medicine bank stocked

in
meeting

It
was
agreed
that whatever
monies remained
in the
above
amount
would
either
be
used
to
buy
other equipment presently
lacking
at the
clinic,
or to re-
plenish
the
medicine bank
with
medication
for
free distribution,
which
is an
ever-present
and
growing
need.

Who won't run
in
the
"high
prices"
race?
The
people
at Nipsco!
We've
trained
our
team
to
keep prices low. In fact,
while
the
cost
of
just
about
everything else keeps
going
up, the
unit
price
of
electric service used
by the
average Nipsco
resi-
dential
customer keeps
going
down. That's because we make
electricity
more
efficiently
than
ever, and
management
con-
tinues
to
find
ways
to
hold rates down. Nipsco electric ser-
vice
is
quite
a
bargain, and it's
